A Georgia Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) since April 2003. She worked with the CPS Project and the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network, designing both websites, and she continues to do so today. In 2007, Jayme was offered a Director’s position at the newly-funded Peer Support and Wellness Center in Decatur, GA. Having been a recipient of the traditional mental health system for 20 years, Jayme was determined to make the PSWC a true alternative to traditional services. Jayme was also instrumental with developing four more respite centers in Georgia in 2011 and 2014.
