A SAMHSA sponsored webinar developed under contract by the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors and presented by Mental Health America, took place Friday, August 30, 2019 at 12:30pm Eastern Time called “Evidence, Policy, and Funding School-Based Social and Emotional Learning Interventions – Part II”

Description: Understanding the evidence, policy, and funding opportunities for school-based interventions related to youth mental health can be difficult. Join experts to explore how states, districts, and schools can use the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) to support social and emotional learning (SEL) interventions. Hear about SEL interventions that meet ESSA evidence requirements and potential funding mechanisms to integrate SEL into school-based efforts to address the social, emotional and mental health of students.
