NASMHPD to host IIMHL 2019 Leadership Exchange Networking Meeting
As an additional bonus to our attendees, we have collaborated with the International Initiative for Mental Health Leadership (IIMHL) to host their 2019 Leadership Exchange Networking Meeting on September 12 - September 13 (evening reception on September 11th). IIMHL is a unique international collaborative that focuses on improving mental health and addictions services. IIMHL is a collaboration of nine countries: Australia, England, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, the USA, and Sweden.
The theme for this year’s exchange is “Leading the Way Forward: Access, Accountability, and Action.” We have worked with IIMHL to develop a track specifically geared towards our Annual Meeting attendees on NASMHPD State Innovations.
We are excited to collaborate with leaders across our country and internationally, as we dialogue and share best practices to promote wellness, recovery, and resiliency for individuals with mental health conditions or co-occurring mental health and substance related disorders across all ages and cultural groups.
