Dr. Michele Reid has spent most of her career working in the community mental health care system in Michigan and Tennessee. Since 1980 she has held a variety of roles from Staff Psychiatrist to Medical Director and was promoted to Chief Medical Officer in 2016. As the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Reid was involved in the design and implementation of the medical module of the second generation EHR, implementation Medicaid Meaningful Use and the Medicare Merit-Based Incentive Payment System, implementing electronic prescribing for controlled substance and managing the contract with our Federally Qualified Health Center, Oakland Integrated Healthcare that is also a Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program funded site. Dr. Reid received her BA from Fisk University and her MD from Meharry Medical College, both in Nashville, Tennessee.
