Carolyn Chance, RN, BSN

Carolyn Chance, RN, BSN was born and raised in the Midwest where she attended Butler University, graduating with degrees in international management and Spanish before spending two years abroad in Madrid, Spain teaching English. After returning to the United States, Carolyn was looking for a career change that could incorporate her interests in teaching, language, service, and medicine and decided to go back to school for her nursing degree. She and her husband relocated to Boston, where she graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts Boston nursing program in 2015. Carolyn began working at McLean Hospital in 2016, on the Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorders unit. Her professional interests include the treatment of psychotic disorders, nursing education and research, and health equity for the LGBTQ community. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, photography, and hiking.
