NASMHPD Prevention Center's webinar on Implementation Science: Planning for Successful Implementation of Evidence Based Practices

This webinar provides an overview of Active Implementation Frameworks (Metz & Bartley, 2012; Fixsen et al., 2009; Fixsen et al., 2005). Content includes implementation of evidence-based and evidence-informed practices and programs, organization change, and systems transformation in human services. Key topics that are discussed include:

  • Usable intervention criteria
  • Commonly relied upon, yet insufficient methods used “to implement” changes
  • Key activities in each of the stages of the implementation process
  • Critical components of the implementation infrastructure
  • Effective methods to problem solve and improve processes and practices
