NASMHPD President's Task Force on Persons with Mental Illnesses in the Criminal Justice System

Charge:

The Task Force will address the involvement of people with mental illness in the criminal justice system by developing a "blueprint" that will chart a course for state officials interested in new strategies to generate and reinvest savings from reduced corrections spending into community behavioral healthcare systems.
